Hi, I'm John Yoder

Since returning from ministry in China in 2017, I've worshipped in 57 immigrant churches of many ethnicities in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro, meeting with their pastors and listening to their stories. 

At the same time I've dialogued with nationwide American pastors about their successes and failures in serving alongside immigrant pastors.  I've learned through the experiences of many pastors what works and what doesn't. 

I want to share this knowledge with you. Because most churches are doing this for the first time, they repeat the same initial mistakes. I want to help you equip your leadership team with a biblical passion for immigrant ministry, and steps to create a short-term spark that can be cultivated into sustained momentum for both churches.

I've been married to Sherry for 25 years, hold a Master's of Divinity degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and am an ordained minister of the Evangelical Free Church of America.
