Whether you've been disillusioned by a bad experience, are simply curious, or already have a healthy cross-cultural partnership, there are Coalition resources that will equip you for greater levels of partnership.

The Merging Streams Coalition gladly welcomes practitioners of all skill levels. By practitioner we mean someone who is in an actual ministry relationship with someone of another culture. Our resources focus more on implementing cross-cultural partnership skills than learning them.

Most of our resources are available 24 hours daily. Our coaching cohort sessions and practitioner interviews are conducted live, after which recordings are posted online. Video lessons are posted regularly.  Individual coaching sessions are scheduled around your availability.

In most churches, only a small percent of members engage in cross-cultural ministry.  But they can have a meaningful impact.  We train pastors to build small, dedicated teams that expand gradually.

You can become a member of the Coalition at any time.  You will immediately have access to all video lessons, monthly live practitioner interviews, monthly prayer gatherings and peer networking.  You will have the opportunity to join a small group Cohort when new ones launch, each April and October.

The Merging Streams Coalition is a ministry of Immigrant Ministry Connections, a nondenominational evangelical nonprofit agency serving multiple denominations and ministries.

Early in your membership, you will experience a 6-month Coaching Cohort.  However, the Coalition itself is a membership that renews annually.  The Coalition exists to bring together cross-cultural ministry practitioners for ongoing learning, networking, and prayer support. You may cancel your membership at any time.

Some of the many denominations we serve are listed on the About Us page. We work with diverse ethnicties who have lived in North America for one, two and multiple generations.

We rejoice at the abundance of quality Christian cross-cultural resources, some of which is listed in our Directories of nationwide nonprofits. Many training agencies assume that learners are preparing for full-time overseas service, requiring in-depth training in anthropology, sociology and linguistics.  Our materials are designed for monocultural Christians who are not preparing for live overseas, prefer learning in short bursts instead of college-level courses, and want to teach cross-cultural skills without using professional jargon.

Coalition members must be able to use a browser and Zoom, and to check their email on a daily basis.

Immigrant Ministry Connections provides both robust free resources and robust paid resources.  Registration fees are necessary for us to provide high-caliber resources on a monthly basis.  More than half of the actual cost of the Coalition is provided by the generous donors of Immigrant Ministry Connections.
